This is as depressing as it is poetic. I am thinking about Vonnegut:
When the last living thing
has died on account of us,
how poetical it would be
if Earth could say,
in a voice floating up
perhaps
from the floor
of the Grand Canyon,
“It is done.”
People did not like it here
While I disagree with the last sentiment, I think the first few lines are brilliant. Granted, poetry was not Vonnegut's strong suit.

but come on, if it can't eat us, then we should definitely eat it. such logic is impeccable
ReplyDeletei can't argue with that. it's an appropriate response, just a little depressing.
